Sound of Light has embarked on a groundbreaking mission to build Sacred Sound Studios, a state-of-the-art recording studio in the forest of Costa Rica, dedicated to the creation of Sacred Music.
​
Building this kind of recording studio in the middle of the Forest is a daunting undertaking, but the final result will be a facility that will help to spread the creation, education and exploration of sound as a healing tool throughout the world. We are reinventing the way that sacred music and healing sound are created and experienced.

About the studios
Sacred Sound Studios is a sound and healing complex that will house three modalities of sound creation and exploration.
​
The first phase of this complex is a recording studio with industry standard equipment and on-site sound engineers, catering to independent artists who make music for the spirit. These artists will be able to record anything from a single original song, to a full studio album with top to bottom world-class production. The recording studio operates alongside a sound healing center that uses innovative spatial technology to experience music and sound in a brand new way. We will be incorporating high-quality audio into healing sessions, adding a new platform for the transmutation of energy.
These two facilities will each host multi-disciplinary classes and seminars, where students can learn about recording arts, music theory and composition, sacred music, and many different modalities of sound healing arts.

The Sacred Sound Recording Studios will cover 413 square meters. It will include two isolation booths for vocal recording, an instrument tracking room and an impressive live room for larger instruments, groups and concerts. This area will also serve as a studio grade Ceremony Space.
Sacred Sound Studios will be the first industry standard recording facility that is built using sacred geometry in the design from the ground up. In the foundation of the structure are white quartz, laser quartz and amethyst clusters. These precious stones are placed at strategic points in order to further energetically charge the surroundings. Our design is also tuned to the four directions since we are building this center to harness the power of mother nature, the elements and the spirit of the forest.

Sound healing facility
Tying directly into the recording studio is a dedicated sound healing facility. This dome will house several float tanks, state of the art sound massage beds and a dedicated acoustic space that is specifically designed for Tibetan Bowls and Gongs.
The pinnacle of the Sound Healing Facility is the groundbreaking VISphere, the world’s first fully immersive, 3D sound healing experience. By combining an environment of sensory deprivation with an omnidirectional speaker array, the VISphere will provide a brand new platform for acoustic exploration. With this cutting-edge technology, there is endless potential in the realms of meditation and sound healing.
